Baldness Has Its Victims - Prevent Baldness Now Or Pay the Price Later

By Mark Crawford

If you knew that a burglar was going to break into your home and steal at a certain time when you weren't there, you would probably do what you could to prevent that situation from happening right?

Well what if you knew of ways to prevent baldness just from sticking to a certain routine or formula? I'm sure you would do that too. That's the sort of attitude you have to take if you're starting to lose hair or even have lost some for a while now.

Most people go about fighting hair loss totally wrong and they pay the price for this lack of knowledge. Relying on a certain hair product is one of the biggest mistakes you can make if you want to regrow your hair. There's more specific things involved than that.

For example most men lose hair because of a hormone formed from testosterone in their bodies called DHT. DHT binds to healthy follicle cells till they become weak and brittle. This will continue if it's not stopped and before you know it, you're left with thin hair all over the place. So the right steps to take would be to prevent baldness by stopping the production of DHT.

You can achieve this by taking saw palmetto extract in the 1,200 mg dose per day. If you're a woman you really don't have much to worry about as far as DHT is concerned. It seems to only affect a few women after they have reached menopause. In such a case getting plenty of green tea in your diet would definitely help anyone fight this off.

Never forget that you are what you eat. A good diet rich in minerals such as magnesium, zinc, iron and copper are important for healthy, growing hair. Don't forget them.
