Sunny's Indian Hair: Back to Basics

If you haven't noticed.... we are discontinuing offering Remy Indian Hair. It is indeed the end of and era... but we are very excited at Sunny's about going back to our roots.


We thought we'd share with our loyal clientele the thought process behind this decision.

About a year ago, we decided that we wanted to be able to offer Indian hair in a variety of textures for some women who believed that the texture of Indian hair didn't offer enough versatility to blend with their texture.

We thus began a long search and research project in testing different sources of processing Indian hair. We finally found a source.... that gently processed the hair with a steam process and introduced to the our website Kelly Curls and Indian Yaki hair.


We have for the most part been very satisfied with the Kelly Curls and Indian Yaki hair but we noticed that we still believe that Indian hair is at its best when left in it's Virgin state.

We have noticed that the processing while for the most part is delicate, it does compromise the integrity of the hair shaft and the same results in terms of texture and color can be achieved on a better level with Virgin Indian Hair.

So as we sell out of Kelly Curls and Indian Yaki, we invite those who love these products to buy it now.

Once it is gone...it's gone. But look back in July for new variations on the Virgin Indian Hair. We will be offering a Single Drawn Natural Straight that has a soft wave to it. Also, we will reintroduce our Indian Hand-Tied Hair. The Hand Tied Indian hair will be available in 12-26" and we will be introducing some longer lengths in the Natural Curl!!!

We will also post frequent blogs with tips for manipulating the Indian Hair to achieve a variety of curl patterns and colors. As well as tips for coloring Indian Hair yourself.

Redken Real Control Feedback

I loved the Redken Real Control Intense Renewal mask and the Conditioner. I slept in the mask overnight and then co-washed with the conditioner in the morning. I couldn't believe how soft and manageable my hair was when it dried. Usually my ends are hard and crunchy when I let them dry in a bun, but they were super soft. The pics are of my hair 2 days after the treatment....I still haven't re-wet it yet. My hair is so moisturized that it looks really greasy in the pics, but I promise its not LOL.
